Spring is over. It was about 93 and humid. Tough riding up to Clark’s gap.

Rode on the small mountain bike trail next to the W&OD trail as well as 14 miles on the regular trail. The mountain bike portion made this ride harder than normal.

I went for something a little different for today’s bicycle ride. I took White’s Ferry across the Potomac to Maryland and rode down the C&O canal trail. I’m not sure why I haven’t ridden this before. It’s very nice. It’s not paved like the W&OD trail but it’s all under a canopy of trees which was good protection against the sun today. I’m definitely going to have to ride this trail some more.
